Hello Eagles! I am Michelle Cook, and I am thrilled to be one of the assistant principals at Northeast Elementary School. My husband, Andrew, and I relocated to Tennessee over 10 years ago from Southern Illinois.

My educational background consists of an A.S. from SIC, B.Ed. in Elementary Education and Social Sciences from SIUC, M.Ed. in Reading Intervention and Teacher Leadership from Concordia University, and Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. Within the CMCSS district, I have worked as a classroom teacher at Norman Smith Elementary and Oakland Elementary, and an academic coach at Cumberland Heights Elementary. I have also held multiple roles in the Elementary Summer Learning Camp for the district such as interventionist, academic coach, administrator, and district team member.

I am a firm believer that ALL students can learn and grow. I look forward to working with the admin team, faculty, staff, and community to help students achieve their goals.
