Hello! This is my 8th year as your assistant principal at NEES. It is a blessing to see our Northeast families grow over time. I have been in education for 23 years. I was a building principal for 8 years in Kansas and an elementary teacher and a reading specialist for 7 years. I hold a Master's Degree from PSU, a K-12 Reading Specialist from ESU, and a BA from MNU. While growing up, my father served in the military and we moved around the globe. I have 3 children. My eldest graduated from KU and is a speech/language teacher. My son is studying engineering at Tennessee Tech, my youngest is a senior at NEHS. I enjoy reading, spending time with family, and being outdoors. My goals are to enable students, staff and community to experience empowerment to reach their highest level of achievement and to encourage acceptance of the diversity that makes each one of us unique. I truly enjoy being a part of a team that works to advocate for children and families.
