Hello! This is my 9th year as your assistant principal at NEES. It is a blessing to see our Northeast families grow over time. I have been in education for 24 years. I was a building principal for 8 years in Kansas and an elementary teacher and a reading specialist for 7 years. I hold a Master's Degree from PSU and a K-12 Reading Specialist from ESU. While growing up, my father served in the military and we moved around the globe. I have 3 children. My eldest graduated from KU and is a speech/language teacher. My son is studying engineering at Tennessee Tech, and my youngest is serving in the Air Force. My younger children graduated from NEHS.
I enjoy reading, spending time with family, and being outdoors. My goals are to enable students, staff and community to experience empowerment at their highest level of achievement and to encourage acceptance of the diversity that makes each of us unique. I truly enjoy being a part of a team that works to advocate for children and families.
