Hi, my name is Sami DeRossett and this is my first year teaching. I am so excited that I am at NEES! I cannot wait to see how great this year is going to be. I moved down from a suburb of Chicago, IL in the fall of 2015 in order to peruse my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education. A little bit about me: I love reading, hanging out on my front porch and the company of good friends. I especially love making the trip back home in order to spend time with my family and to hang out with my niece. I am looking forward to meeting each of my students and having a successful school year. Communication is a key to that success, so if you have any questions, please e-mail me or call the school and they will be able to direct you to me! Thanks!

I will have high expectations for my students because I know that they can achieve their academic and personal goals. I do require the students to put in their best effort into every thing that they are tasked with in my classroom. These students have an opportunity to soar to greater heights by putting their best foot forward and completing assignments with confidence.
